Senior Operational Geologist (m/f/d)

In this role you support well delivery by providing geological expertise across planning, drilling, evaluation, and reporting. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and service providers to ensure safe, efficient operations and high-quality geological deliverables. You’ll contribute to planning, real-time interpretation, and documentation such as SORs, GEPs, and EOWRs, while upholding HSE standards. This position offers hands-on field work, cross-functional collaboration, and meaningful impact on Europe’s decarbonization and lithium supply.

• Support geological activities across planning, drilling, evaluation, and reporting
• Interface with drilling teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure safe execution
• Perform geological offset well studies and contribute to well planning (SOR, GEP)
• Provide onsite geological support during drilling and participate in operational meetings
• Prepare and contribute to operational reports (Daily Geological Reports, Daily Drilling Reports)
• Lead or support QA/QC and supervision of geoscientific evaluation activities (mudlogging, wireline, LWD/MWD)
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of geological samples and data
• Contribute to EOWR preparation and post-well evaluation activities
• Support tendering, technical evaluations, contractor management, and budgeting for mudlogging and formation evaluation services

• university degree in Geosciences or related discipline
• more than 10 years of onsite operational experience as Wellsite Geologist or Operations Geologist
• experience with QA/QC on well and formation evaluation tools and data
• proficient in industry-standard software for well log visualization, interpretation, and analysis
• strong HSE commitment and compliance
• willingness to travel and work at well sites, including outside office hours
