Senior Optical Metrology Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Optical Metrology Engineer to develop and optimise high-precision optical measurement systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise optical metrology and interferometry systems.
• Work with laser-based measurement technologies and optical alignment.
• Perform calibration, testing and measurement uncertainty analysis.
• Analyse measurement data using Python and/or MATLAB .
• Troubleshoot and improve measurement system performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in Optical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, Metrology or a related field.
• Strong experience in optical metrology and interferometry.
• Practical experience with lasers and optical system alignment.
• Knowledge of calibration and measurement uncertainty.
• Programming experience with Python, MATLAB or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
