Senior Payroll Accountant (m/f/d)

Your assignment:

• You will be responsible for the preparation and execution of payroll accounting in SAP for a defined group of approx. 200 employees as well as company pensioners, interns and managing directors, including all preparatory and follow‑up work
• You maintain billing‑relevant master data and documentation
• They handle special transactions: non‑cash payments, annual special payments, garnishments, anniversary bonuses, company pension schemes, etc.
• With your advice, you will support employees, managers and internal interfaces in all payroll‑related, social security and wage tax law issues, including personnel‑related issues and collective bargaining regulations on remuneration
• Your tasks will also include statistical evaluations and the management of time management in SAP
• You will work together with external authorities, health insurance companies and auditors as well as with internal interfaces in finance and human resources
• You will take care of administrative work on your own responsibility, such as creating certificates, keeping electronic personnel files, etc.
• You will be actively involved in process optimisation and participate in the implementation of payroll‑related project activities

Your Profile:

• Successful completion of a commercial apprenticeship with further training as a personnel specialist or payroll accountant, or similar qualification
• Well‑founded, several years of professional experience in the field of payroll accounting of a medium‑sized industrial company in shift operation across all employee groups
• Very good knowledge of income tax and social security law is indispensable
• Preferably a good knowledge of the collective agreement for the metal and electrical industry
• Confident handling of time management and payroll accounting in SAP in daily work, user knowledge in other time management/accounting programs desirable
• A high hands‑on mentality, professional appearance and absolute reliability are a matter of course
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
• Careful, structured and reliable way of working
• Ability to work in a team, loyalty and solution orientation
