Senior Platform Architect (m/f/d)

As a Senior Platform Architect, you shape the technical direction of scalable, secure platform architectures that meet customer needs and business goals. You collaborate with customers, architects, engineers, and product teams to deliver sustainable value while balancing quality, feasibility, and innovation. You will drive architecture across the full development lifecycle, promote reusable platform capabilities, and mentor teams. A key hook is shaping global platform strategy and advancing AI-enabled engineering practices within a high-impact environment.

• Define and drive architecture and technical direction across the full development lifecycle
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure, and reusable platform solutions while challenging assumptions
• Develop high-level platform specs focused on integration, performance, security, resilience, and maintainability
• Lead architectural discussions and coach architects, engineers, and platform engineers
• Ensure solutions are purposeful, balancing business value with technical excellence
• Plan and govern architecture quality, implementation quality, testing, and governance
• Promote reuse through modular architectures and reusable components
• Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency, quality, and decision-making

• Several years of software development, software architecture, and platform engineering experience
• Proficiency with C, C#, Java, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments
• Expert knowledge of software architecture principles, design, system modeling, and software quality assurance
• Strong understanding of system integration, cybersecurity, test management, and modern development practices
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and communicate with technical and business stakeholders
• Experience designing reusable, product-oriented architectures across multiple platforms
• Awareness of how Artificial Intelligence can be applied in development, architecture, automation, testing, and workflows
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Software Architect (advantage)
