Senior Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you will build and operate AutoScout24’s internal AI-driven platform used by 600+ developers. You’ll own end-to-end products, shaping interfaces and workflows that improve developer productivity with AI across Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AWS. You will drive adoption, ensure reliability and security, and collaborate across teams to turn ideas into reusable tooling. This is a hands-on, product-minded engineering role with real ownership and impact on how the organization builds with AI.

• Build and operate the internal AI platform including secure AI coding environments and AI-enabled CI/CD
• Own products end-to-end from design to deployment and iteration
• Identify developer friction and ship tooling to simplify workflows
• Lead topic ownership, planning, and stakeholder communication
• Set architectural directions for platform foundations (Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC on AWS) and AI capabilities
• Maintain reliability, security, observability, and cost-awareness; participate in on-call rotation
• Capture reusable patterns, templates, and blueprints for company-wide reuse

• Senior-level experience (5+ years) building and operating infrastructure or platform products
• Hands-on GenAI experience with LLM APIs, tooling, retrieval, agents
• Experience with modern AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex)
• Strong AWS fundamentals and Infrastructure as Code/Pipeline as Code
• Developer experience focus and ability to evaluate impact on developers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions
• Solid engineering fundamentals (testing, debugging, production readiness)
• Familiarity with SRE/DevOps and observability (CloudWatch, Datadog, OpsGenie)
• Proficient in at least one language (Python, Go, or TypeScript)
