As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:

• You own the Power BI tenant architecture, including Microsoft Fabric capacity planning and optimization across regions, domains, and business units.
• You define and enforce standards for governance, performance, security, and lifecycle management, working closely with Data Governance.
• You manage and optimize Premium capacities, gateways, refresh performance, XMLA endpoints, and deployment pipelines to ensure a stable and scalable platform.
• You provide advanced (third‑level) support for complex incidents, performance bottlenecks, capacity issues, and challenging data model and DAX problems.
• You ensure enterprise‑grade monitoring, logging, and auditability and implement robust security concepts such as RLS, OLS, access controls, DLP rules, and IAM best practices.
• You promote Power BI self‑service enablement, provide best‑practice guidance on data modeling, DAX optimization, visualization, and report design, conduct trainings and workshops, and drive the adoption of new Power BI and Microsoft Fabric features.

What makes you stand out

• You have several years of hands‑on experience as a Power BI Administrator, BI Engineer, or in a comparable senior analytics platform role.
• You possess expert knowledge of the Power BI Admin Portal, Premium capacity management, gateways, security configuration, and refresh optimization.
• You have a deep understanding of data modeling, DAX, Power Query, semantic models, and performance tuning in enterprise environments.
• You are comfortable working in complex, multi‑stakeholder enterprise landscapes and demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• You are familiar with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or data catalog tools and evaluate new features with regard to scalability, cost efficiency, performance, and user experience.
• You work independently, systematically, and with a strong results orientation, create professional analyses and presentations (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), and communicate fluently in both German and English, verbally and in writing.
