Senior Procurement Manager

In this Procurement Manager role, you will lead structured procurement for large-scale BESS projects across Europe, aligning technical and commercial needs with project delivery. You’ll coordinate with cross-functional teams and external advisors to secure robust contracts, while expanding the supplier base in Germany and beyond. The position combines strategic sourcing with hands-on execution in a fast‑growing renewable energy portfolio. You’ll contribute to grid stability and renewable integration through scalable procurement solutions.

• Lead tender processes and negotiate framework agreements and project contracts for BESS projects across Germany and wider European markets
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes from initiation to contract execution
• Serve as a central interface between procurement, technical teams, project developers, and external contractors
• Collaborate cross-functionally with asset management, construction, finance, and origination to align technical and commercial requirements
• Coordinate with external legal and technical advisors to strengthen contractual outcomes
• Conduct and manage due diligence for supplier selection and contract award
• Support development and expansion of a strong contractor base in Germany, especially for electrical and BoP scopes
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers and partners
• Maintain procurement databases including supplier evaluations, benchmarking, and market intelligence

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in procurement or contract management in energy or infrastructure
• Experience on CAPEX projects within renewable energy (BESS, solar PV, wind)
• Strong understanding of FIDIC and/or VOB/B contract frameworks
• Proven track record negotiating complex commercial/contractual agreements
• Experience in international project environments
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
