Senior Product Design Engineer

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly capable Senior Product Design Engineer with a strong technical background in the construction machinery industry. In this role, you will bridge the gap between market demands and technical execution. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle—from market research, strategy formulation, and detailed product design, to cross-functional development, compliance certification, and continuous iterative optimization.

• Conduct in-depth industry research, competitive benchmarking, and user needs analysis to formulate product positioning and medium-to-long-term development roadmaps.
• Author comprehensive Product Requirements Documents (PRD) and product specification documentation to ensure defined features align strictly with market demands and technological capabilities.
• Carry out overall product design based on market insights and R&D requirements, covering both conceptual design and detailed engineering design .
• Formulate technical specifications, design documentation, and structural/functional standards to guide engineering and testing teams.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from initial concept validation through mass production, market iteration, and eventual phase-out.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources across R&D, Design, Manufacturing, Testing, and Quality teams to drive product execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality targets.
• Develop Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and product launch plans in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
• Provide comprehensive technical training, product argumentations, and sales enablement materials to accelerate market penetration.
• Monitor market performance, field test results, and user feedback post-launch.
• Utilize data-driven insights to plan product feature updates, value engineering, and continuous design iterations.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and Quality Control departments to ensure products satisfy all target market certification standards (e.g., CE, ISO, OSHA).

Proactively identify and manage technical, market, and compliance risks throughout the product development process.
