Senior Product Designer AI (d/f/m)

eBay’s cross product AI team’s mission is to define and build eBay’s next wave of magical, scalable, and personal ecommerce experiences using generative AI. Team Role

As a Senior Product Designer, AI on our Core Product team in Berlin, you have an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of designing AI-driven content and curation experiences for our customers. You’ll be joining the team at an exciting time when your innovative solutions will help define the eBay's next generation of experiences to life and set a new standard for e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Designing and prototyping cross-platform experiences that are easy to use, magical, and delight eBay’s customers
• Developing sketches, wireframes, user flows, mockups, and animations at appropriate fidelities to clearly communicate designs to leaders and cross-functional teams
• Exploring a wide variety of design concepts to find the best solutions, balancing the business objectives with the customers’ needs
• Collaborating daily with other designers and UX teammates to contribute to a thriving Design culture
• Partnering with engineers, data scientists and product managers throughout the design and development process on eBay's next gen AI experiences

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product design, UX, or Interaction Design.
• A solid portfolio that demonstrates a range of design and product strategy across web-based applications, consumer experiences, and mobile products
• Knowledge of UX, interaction and visual design.
• Experience shipping consumer products in a product-led environment.
• Experience using existing frameworks to solve problems, and extending and evolving those frameworks.

Nice to have experience

• Experience designing experiences with AI or other emerging technologies
• Experience designing for ecommerce
• Experience creative prototyping
