Senior Product Platform Architect (f/m/div)

In this role you drive the architecture of Infineon’s next-generation MCU platform, aligning product capabilities with market needs. You work closely with cross-functional teams to translate insights into technical requirements and guide platform definition. Your impact spans strategy, architecture, and lifecycle activities, enabling scalable, integrated MCU solutions for power and IoT. • Own the architecture for the next-generation MCU platform
• Define MCU product platform and feature set aligned with market requirements and business goals
• Collaborate with Technical Marketing and customers to define, refine, and validate use cases
• Translate market insights into clear product requirements and technical specifications
• Evaluate and prioritize change requests based on impact, feasibility, and strategic fit
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation across engineering
• Provide technical partnership and act as the point of contact during product development

• Master Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 6 years of experience in MCU, semiconductors, or embedded systems development
• Experience in product architecture, platform definition, or system engineering
• Knowledge of MCU architectures such as ARM Cortex, RISC-V, or similar
• Understanding of embedded software, peripherals, interfaces, and system integration
• Experience translating market and customer requirements into technical specifications and supporting product lifecycle management
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, marketing, and business teams with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic and systems-level thinking and project or technical leadership experience
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken); German would be a plus
