Senior Programmatic Advertising Manager

Responsibilities

• You implement programmatic campaigns operationally across various DSPs and manage and optimize IO (Insertion Order) campaigns.
• You create customer-journey-based programmatic strategies across the full funnel, from branding through prospecting to retargeting.
• You develop digital media plans for programmatic and IO campaigns and work closely with consultants and Ad Operations teams.
• You maintain close, ongoing communication with publishers, data providers and technology vendors (both national and international).
• You develop best-practice models and generate insights for continuous always-on optimization.
• You act as a driver for innovation and the further development of programmatic excellence for our clients.
• You are responsible for onboarding new colleagues and serve as a mentor for juniors and regulars.

Requirements

• You have professional experience setting up and optimizing campaigns in DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Yahoo DSP, HAWK DSP, Xandr, Google Ads, Taboola, Teads).
• You have a strong understanding of programmatic full-funnel strategies and the use of various campaign management technologies (ad serving, ad verification, tracking, analytics).
• You are confident in applying data (1st-, 2nd-, 3rd-party) and in deriving strategic recommendations for audience management and targeting.
• You possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex topics, particularly regarding different KPIs within a full-funnel model and their varying interpretations.
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• You speak German fluently and have business-fluent English.
