Senior Project Accounting Professional, German Language Proficiency

Responsibilities

• Daily management of project setup for customer account activity
• Ensuring accurate, timely billing, and handling invoicing disputes
• Helping ensure revenue close process efficiency and effectiveness
• Analyzing key trends/judgment areas
• Booking journal entries for revenue deferral
• Performing reconciliations and deferred revenue analysis
• Understanding and owning the processes of the Company’s revenue cycle to ensure proper revenue recognition compliance with USGAAP and internal policies
• Reviewing new contracts and purchase orders for non-standard terms and conditions and compliance
• Ensuring all revenue for the period is recorded and recognized according to IFRS and USGAAP standards
• Working closely with management daily to review detailed, sometimes complex, client contracts
• Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of customer data files
• Recording monthly revenue recognition
• Processing customer invoices

Requirements

• Fluent German
• 3+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong verbal and written English and German communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Promotes collaboration, works well with others, and maintains a positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and problem-solving
