Senior Project Manager - Heating (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead heating and energy infrastructure projects from initiation through successful completion.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing project execution, coordinating stakeholders, controlling budgets, overseeing contracts, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with customers, contractors, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead heating and energy infrastructure projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and issues.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with project partners.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment throughout project execution.

Contract & Commercial Management

• Support the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts.
• Review and evaluate offers from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure financial targets are achieved.

Team Coordination

• Coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external project teams.
• Assign responsibilities and monitor project deliverables.
• Conduct site visits and support the resolution of on-site challenges.

Technical Oversight

• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure compliance with technical requirements and industry standards.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during project execution.
• Ensure heating system installations and modifications meet applicable regulations and quality requirements.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Manage permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Prepare regular project status reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure all project-related information is properly documented and archived.

What We’re Looking For

• Several years of experience in project management within heating, energy, utilities, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, contract management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and good English skills are required.
