Senior Project Manager – Meetings and Events

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and manage creative live experiences and complex event projects end-to-end—from the initial concept to successful completion.
• Implementer & Project Controller: Lead execution of creative event concepts and overall project control regarding scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
• Consultant & Stakeholder Manager: Build and expand lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders, advise confidently, moderate project meetings, and manage complex stakeholder landscapes both in projects and pitches.
• Leadership: Provide professional leadership to interdisciplinary project teams through all project phases, often without direct line-management responsibility.
• Organizational Talent & Executor: Coordinate and manage all service providers, partners, and teams involved in your projects.
• Commercial Mindset: Prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, identify project risks early, and drive business decisions in the company's best interest.
• Communicator & Conflict Resolver: Communicate confidently with clients, executives, and top management.
• Idea Generator: Continuously develop live, online, and hybrid formats, contribute new ideas, and actively shape cross‑functional projects.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in event management, including contract negotiations, pitches, budgeting, and leading small teams.
• Confident communication skills in German and English (verbal and written).
• Proficient in common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Team-oriented, structured working style, advisory, negotiation, problem‑solving skills, and business acumen.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 15% of the role).
