Senior Project Manager, Quality & Commissioning

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the quality and commissioning process of data center projects, ensuring systems are designed, installed, and tested to meet performance requirements.
• Act as the Senior QCx Manager, collaborate with design teams, contractors, vendors, operations and stakeholders to lead quality and commissioning activities from pre‑construction through handover.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure systems are installed per design specifications and Vantage Data Center standards.
• Monitor the documentation of testing and inspections related to quality and commissioning.
• Handle issue resolution and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety guidelines, and project requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports and ensure accurate training for operational teams.
• Facilitate the mentoring of core Vantage team members within the area of quality and commissioning process.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related degree, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in MEP Construction is required, 8+ years preferred
• Technical expertise and understanding of all mechanical and electrical systems that support the broad array of projects in our portfolio and how they interact with each other is required
• Business acumen to plan, manage and execute all the essential duties with excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational ability, and proficiency with computer applications is required
• Use and experience in coordination software such as BIM 360, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or REVIT is a plus
• Data Center experience is strongly preferred, but not required
