About the role

We are actively seeking a Senior Project Manager with 12 to 20 years of experience, including 4+ years as a Scrum Master. The person is responsible for leading end‑to‑end delivery of software development initiatives. The role involves managing cross‑functional teams, engaging with global stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of projects within scope, timeline, budget, and quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end project delivery across multiple software development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive requirements gathering and define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Drive execution across Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and hybrid delivery models, ensuring adaptability to evolving project needs.
  • Manage cross‑functional Scrum teams (development, QA, architects, Scrum Masters) remotely, and in hybrid setups.
  • Establish and enhance strong governance frameworks, including regular status reporting, stakeholder communication, and executive reviews.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, SDLC processes, and delivery best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in delivery efficiency, team productivity, and process optimization.
  • Drive AI initiatives as per the organization guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and managing development & testing projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering small to large‑scale projects in Agile environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client‑facing roles and build long‑term relationships.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams while fostering a collaborative culture.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks; Scrum certifications are a plus.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred.
