Senior QA Engineer, Mobile Testing

Responsibilities

Build and continuously improve automated tests

Develop and maintain end-to-end tests for user flows across core processes

Map processes from the app user to the tax advisor and across the interaction of multiple systems

Use Playwright and go beyond standard solutions when necessary

Analyze processes and identify weaknesses to inform testing

Develop robust testing strategies

Contribute to test, infrastructure, and CI/CD integration solutions

Support Engineering and Product teams with testing tools

Work closely with Engineering, Product Managers, and various stakeholders

Requirements

Several years of experience in test automation, particularly end-to-end testing

Very good knowledge of Playwright or comparable frameworks, such as Cypress or Selenium

Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript

Experience testing complex, distributed systems

Strong understanding of end-to-end processes spanning multiple components

Ability to identify weaknesses and inefficient processes and derive robust testing strategies

Ability to balance clean test architecture with pragmatic implementation

Ability to communicate technical and business topics clearly and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Experience with mobile testing, particularly native apps, as well as knowledge of automated mobile testing (nice to have)

Experience with form-based applications or regulated domains, such as fintech or tax (nice to have)
