Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Billing Technology)

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java (mandatory) and experience automating tests using Selenium/Playwright, Postman, SQL, Cucumber and REST APIs
• Experience managing source code repositories, branching/merging and automation workflows in GitHub
• Strong background in building and maintaining test automation suites and working with existing frameworks
• Experience managing SIT, coordinating UAT with business teams and owning regression & performance testing
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps or Bamboo
• Good to have: JavaScript/Node.js, Google Cloud knowledge and performance testing tools (e.g., perfmon, LoadRunner)

What the job involves

• You would drive & contribute to the technology strategy for the Corporate Bank, simplifying the technology stack with cutting edge modern technologies like Google cloud suite and Java micro‑services. You would work with architects & product managers to solve problems with agile methodologies to release features every sprint and deliver high quality software engineering solutions
• Ensure execution of testing strategies, plans and deliverables across all applications within the domain
• Design and conduct test procedures and frameworks to validate functional performance
• Investigate and analyse defects where software does not perform as expected
• Implement and maintain quality assurance practices to support business development
• Drive adoption of QA best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies
• Record defects and compile metrics/KPI reporting
