(Senior) Risk Manager (m/f/x)

In this role you will help strengthen Scalable Capital's risk controls within a fast-growing fintech. You will support the Risk Control Function in overseeing risk governance and non-financial risk management, applying processes to incidents, RCSA, and control testing. You will develop risk profiles, track risk limits, and contribute to risk strategy and policy. You will act as a liaison for the 1LoD and prepare risk reports for senior stakeholders, enabling safer, scalable product delivery.

• Develop and maintain day-to-day operational risk frameworks, incident reviews, and RCSA routines
• Maintain risk register data integrity and perform Control Testing
• Support RBC tracking and risk limit adherence, contribute to annual risk inventory
• Implement Operational Risk Stress Testing and Scenario Analysis, monitor KRIs
• Manage New Product Process lifecycle governance from pre-assessment to approvals
• Act as contact for 1LoD, drive reporting and corrective actions, produce quarterly Risk Reports and monthly Risk Culture Reports

• Bachelor or Master in business administration, finance, economics or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in risk management, audit or compliance within banks or financial services
• Knowledge of operational risk regulatory issues (CRR, MaRisk, DORA, SREP, EBA)
• Ability to work in time-sensitive environments and balance priorities
• Strong risk-focused analytical and presentation skills
• Concise German and English communication skills
