Join Quantum Systems as a Senior Robotics and Machine Learning Engineer to drive the development of advanced object detection, tracking, pose estimation, and robot control for our Drone Port team.

Day to Day Mission

• Lead the development of object detection, tracking, and pose estimation techniques for precise drone interaction and control.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end integration of multi‑sensor setups for autonomous drone port functionality.
• Develop software that processes and interprets data from cameras, LiDAR, GPS, and related technologies.
• Implement advanced robotics control strategies for drone landing, movement, and take‑off.
• Ensure robust software platform development and integrate with in‑house user interfaces.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of software to guarantee reliability before market release.
• Collaborate with hardware specialists, robotics engineers and aeronautical engineers.
• Interface with teams on drone platforms and mission control software for seamless integration.

What you bring to the team

• Post‑graduate degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in computer vision, AI‑driven object detection, and robotics with expertise in sensor fusion and real‑time control.
• Strong background in C++, Python and embedded systems development.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as SAFe.
• Proficiency in AI concepts and machine learning techniques applied to robotics control.
• Collaborative and communicative nature; a trusted internal expert.
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
• Highly self‑motivated with ownership of responsibilities.
• Fluency in English.
