Senior Sales Engineer - AI Agents (DACH)

As a senior presales professional at NiCE Cognigy, you will own the technical narrative for complex enterprise opportunities in the DACH region and expansion markets. You will partner with sales to shape tailored AI-driven CX solutions and lead technical dissections, POCs, and demonstrations that translate tech value into business impact. You’ll represent NiCE Cognigy through thought leadership at events and drive market awareness. This role offers visibility across cross-functional teams and a chance to influence strategic, multi-million deals in a market-leading AI-first CX platform.

• Partner with sales to plan and execute complex enterprise deals in DACH and expansion markets
• Lead discovery calls and technical deep dives with enterprise stakeholders
• Create and deliver customized product demonstrations for technical and business audiences
• Design and recommend customer-specific solutions articulating NiCE Cognigy's value
• Run and support POCs/POVs to prove value in real environments
• Act as a market-facing voice through events, webinars, and marketing activities
• Provide technical comparisons against competing AI Agent/agentic AI platforms
• Collaborate with product and internal teams to feed back customer requirements and enablement

• Tenured presales, sales engineering, or solution consulting background
• Deep enterprise software experience, especially CCaaS or automation
• Hands-on AI Agents, agentic AI, conversational and generative AI experience
• Proficiency with AI tooling and LLMs in daily work
• JavaScript programming/scripting experience; Java/Python a plus
• Contact center knowledge (SIP, SBCs, ACD, ASR, TTS) and chatbot/IVR design
• Strong presentation and communication skills; fluent in German and English
