Senior SAP Fiori / Embedded Analytics Consultant – Controlling (Freelance)

Overview

For an international SAP S/4HANA transformation and rollout program, we are looking for an experienced SAP Fiori / Embedded Analytics Consultant with a strong focus on Finance and Controlling.

The role focuses on designing and implementing Fiori-based solutions, reporting, and analytics capabilities in close collaboration with SAP CO/PS experts and technical teams.

Project Details

• Start: As soon as possible

• Duration: Expected until September/October 2027

• Workload: Up to 100%

• Location: Primarily remote, occasional on-site activities in Hanover, Germany

• Languages: Fluent English; German preferred

• Contract : Freelance

• Europe-based candidates only

Tasks

• Conduct fit-gap analyses between existing SAP GUI transactions and SAP Fiori applications for Controlling processes.

• Design Fiori Launchpad structures, including business roles, catalogs, spaces, pages, and authorization requirements.

• Design and implement Fiori-based reporting and Embedded Analytics solutions for SAP CO and PS.

• Support reporting requirements for cost centers, profit centers, Margin Analysis, project costs, budgets, and plan/actual comparisons.

• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate implementation with development and authorization teams.

• Execute functional and integration tests, analyze defects, and support go-live and hypercare activities.

Skills

• Proven hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and Embedded Analytics in SAP S/4HANA.

• Strong experience in functional Fiori solution design, app selection, and implementation.

• Good understanding of SAP CO processes and Controlling reporting requirements; SAP PS knowledge is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Fiori Launchpad configuration concepts, business roles, catalogs, OData services, and authorization dependencies.

• Experience in functional specifications, testing, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Fluent English; German language skills are preferred.
