Senior Satellite Mission System Engineer (m/f/d)

Marble Imaging is recruiting a Senior Satellite Mission System Engineer (m/f/d) in Bremen, Germany. Contract: full time. Degree level: University degree in aerospace engineering (or equivalent), ideally space engineering. Language: English. Work experience: Strong space-industry experience, preferably satellite mission projects, with team leadership.

The role covers lead satellite mission system engineering from development through launch to end of mission across space, ground and launch segments: own the technical management of the mission internally and externally, lead the technical team, define and maintain requirements from mission down to satellite level, manage mission interfaces and develop mission- and satellite-level concepts and architectures.

Requirements: Aerospace engineering degree, ideally with a space specialisation; strong experience in the space industry and satellite mission projects including leading teams; deep knowledge of satellite missions, systems, architectures and interfaces, preferably Earth-observation; profound understanding of ground and launch segments; strong requirements engineering and interface management; organised, proactive, analytical and hands-on.
