Senior Security Engineer – Sec Ops

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of security platforms and services


• Own and evolve Terraform Infrastructure as Code standards and GitHub Actions CI/CD practices


• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through design reviews, code reviews, and secure engineering guidance


• Drive integration, tuning, and lifecycle management of core security tooling


• Partner with Incident Response, Threat Engineering, and GRC to translate threats, incidents, and compliance requirements into engineering solutions and roadmap priorities


• Champion AI-assisted engineering practices to improve velocity, code quality, and test coverage


• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for security tooling incidents


• Drive resilience improvements through capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and runbook development


• Represent Security Engineering in architecture reviews and cross-functional technical forums


• Deliver production-ready systems on time and within budget while upholding engineering and security standards

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience in security engineering or a related field, including designing and operating cloud-native security platforms at production scale


• Security architecture experience in AWS, OCI, or Aliyun, including multi-account environments and cross-region/CN considerations


• Advanced proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices


• Experience designing and maintaining secure, reliable CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions


• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, DLP, PAM, WAF, SOAR, and vulnerability management


• Track record mentoring engineers and leading technical design decisions


• Advanced scripting and software development skills, such as Python


• Experience building and operating production services, APIs, and cronjobs on Kubernetes/EKS


• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code


• Experience with Agile and/or DevOps frameworks


• Experience driving improvements to team process and delivery practices
