Position: Senior Service Engineer / Service Technician (w/m/d) – Process Gas Analysis

Employer: Siemens AG

Type: Vollzeit, various locations (Rhein-Neckar/Rhein-Main)

Work environment: flexible; National and some international travel (~80%) required; valid driver's licence needed.

Responsibilities

• Improve customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Travel to customer sites to install, configure, repair, and commission installations using Siemens process gas analytic products.
• Maintain customer installations under service contracts, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and provide training on the product portfolio.
• Work closely with sales and support teams.
• Observe EHS regulations.

Qualifications

• Completed training or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a similar field; qualification as Elektrofachkraft (EFK) required.
• Extensive experience as a service technician with customer interaction desired.
• Knowledge in one or more gas‑measurement principles: infrared absorption, flame ionization, paramagnetism, thermal conductivity, molecular absorption, UV‑resonance absorption, or laser spectroscopy.
• Strong communication, teamwork, responsibility, and self‑organisation skills.
• Fluent German and good English.
