Senior SoC Architect (f/m/d)

In this role you lead the EPIC SoC architecture from concept to production, aligning digital, analog, photonics, and packaging inputs into a cohesive PRD. You own the digital and high-speed I/O subsystems, shaping SerDes and protocol implementations (UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet) to meet performance and power targets. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure a feasible full-chip architecture and drive the PRD through sign-off. You contribute to a mission-driven, human-centered culture delivering energy-efficient, high-bandwidth solutions for graphene-based photonics-enabled systems.

• Own EPIC SoC technical leadership from concept to production and drive cross-functional alignment
• Build and document the overall product architecture translating MRD into PRD
• Own the digital subsystem architecture including core logic and on-chip interconnect
• Own the high-speed I/O subsystem, focusing on SerDes and protocol logic for UCIe, PCIe, and Ethernet
• Integrate analog, photonics, packaging, and memory inputs into a consistent full-chip architecture
• Perform full-chip PPA trade-off analysis and coordinate with external IP vendors for validation
• Present integrated architecture and PRD to stakeholders and drive to sign-off

• 7–10 years in SoC or product architecture with ownership of architecture from MRD to PRD
• Deep high-speed I/O expertise, especially SerDes and protocol logic for UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet
• Strong digital subsystem and interconnect fabric architecture experience
• Cross-domain integration skills without owning all domains
• Experience translating MRD to engineering specifications and analyzing PPA trade-offs
• Experience with 3rd-party IP vendors and design integration partners
• Proficiency with architecture tooling, modeling (Python/C++), and requirements management
• Familiarity with UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet standards and associated tooling
