We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to join Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions and strengthen the long-term evolution of the Netilion ecosystem. What is the role about?

As Senior Software Architect, you are responsible for the overall technical design of the Netilion platform. You ensure that all parts of the platform, including Cloud, Edge, Connectivity and Hybrid solutions, work together in a consistent, secure and scalable way.

You define the technical direction of the platform, support important technology decisions and help engineering teams build solutions that fit the long-term strategy.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

• Define and maintain the overall architecture of the Netilion platform.
• Align technical solutions with business goals and product requirements.
• Lead architecture reviews and support key technology decisions.
• Ensure the platform remains scalable, secure, reliable and easy to maintain.
• Establish architecture standards, API guidelines and best practices.
• Identify technical risks and manage technical debt.
• Support and mentor architects, technical leads and engineering teams.
• Promote consistency and collaboration across teams and products.

What do we expect from you?

You:

• Bring several years of experience in a senior technical leadership role such as Software Architect, Platform Architect, Principal Engineer or Enterprise Architect.
• Have strong knowledge of cloud platforms, distributed systems, security, connectivity and data architectures.
• Have experience defining technical standards and guiding multiple engineering teams.
• Can evaluate trade-offs and make pragmatic technology decisions.
• Understand DevOps and SRE practices for building reliable systems.
• Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Can influence and mentor others without relying on formal authority.
• Have business fluency in German and English.
