Senior Software Developer – Platform Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade distributed systems
• Own technical architecture in your domain (Platform or Data)
• Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of core systems
• Work closely with internal users (engineers or data practitioners)
• Participate in operational ownership (on-call where applicable)
• Lead projects end-to-end from design to production

Requirements

• 7+ years building production systems
• Strong experience in distributed systems or data-intensive systems
• Experience owning system design decisions
• Operational experience (production support, incidents, debugging)
• Experience building systems used by other engineers or data teams
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS/GCP/Kubernetes) - Nice to Have
• CI/CD or developer tooling experience (Platform track) - Nice to Have
• dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, or similar tools (Data track) - Nice to Have
• Observability, reliability engineering, or data quality systems - Nice to Have
• Experience working across both domains (not required) - Nice to Have
