# Senior Software Engineer - DataSnkeVia arbeitnowMünchen, DEPubliée il y a 8h## Description du poste**What you'll do**As (Senior) Software Engineer – Data at Snke you will help build and scale the data infrastructure that empowers our Research & Development teams to automate the testing and evaluation of medical software using large-scale datasets. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and operating modern data platforms, pipelines, and services that enable efficient data processing and analysis.You will:* Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient data platforms and architectures.* Design, develop, andmaintainrobust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.* Build,deployand managedatastorage systems and databases, such as Apache Iceberg or MongoDB.* Develop,optimizeand enforcedata quality, lineage, compliance, and security controlsacross the system.* Writing Servicesfor data ingestion,accessand processing* Collaborate with data analysts to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning use cases.* Document data models, processes, architectures, and best practices.* Contribute to a collaborative and innovative engineering culture while working alongside a talented team at our Munich headquarters **What we're looking for*** A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.* Strong experience in data engineering and modern data platform development.* Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data engineering best practices.* Hands-on experience with Python, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, and/or Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.* Experience with modern software development practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and GitHub Actions.* Experience building and operating cloud-based solutions, ideally on AWS.* Familiarity with healthcare standards such as FHIR or DICOM is a plus.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and pragmatic approach to work.* A collaborative mindset, excellent teamwork skills, and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.* Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage. **Why Snke*** A supportive, international team connected by shared values and a culture of trust* Meaningful responsibilities with a lasting impact on global healthtech, improving medical decisions and patient outcomes* 30 vacation days, plus December 24th and December 31st* Flexible working hours and a hybrid work model within Germany* Bike leasing via our partner “BikeLeasing”* Parking garage and secure underground bike storage* Subsidized company restaurant and in-house café* Urban Sports Club membership with employer contribution* Regular after-work, team, and company events* Centrally located, modern workspace with a 212 m2 rooftop terrace**Ready to apply?** We look forward to receiving your online application including your first available start date.
