Your Mission

Join us at the intersection of software, hardware, AI, and life sciences.You'lldevelop Java- and C++-based software for advanced laboratory and clinical instruments that support biomedical research and next-generation therapies. Together with a cross-functional agile team,you'llbuild reliable technology that helps tackle cancer and other serious diseases while driving the adoption of AI-powered engineering practices.You will:

Help us discover andestablisheffective ways of using AI to improve coding, testing, debugging, and software quality.

Build modern, reliable applications with a strong focus onJavaand develop hardware-nearsoftware components usingC++.

Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to enhance software development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews. Critically assess and refine generated outputs to ensure secure, maintainable, and production-ready software solutions.

Own the development and continuous improvement of software for our instrument portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Work in a cross-functional team of software engineers, testers, hardware experts, and scientists, contributing yourexpertiseand ideas to create innovative solutions.

What You Bring

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.

At least 3 years of experience in professional software development

AI-first-mindset, whether through intelligent automation, agent-based systems, prompt engineering, or generative AI applications, and motivation to transfer this experience into AI-driven software verification and quality engineering

Strong Java and C++ development skills

Solid skills in software design and architecture. UML and design patterns are part of your daily business

Knowledge of areas such as multithreading, UI development, system design and hardware integration, with a focus on clean and maintainable code under Linux operating systems.

Collaborative, agile, and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and good English proficiency.

Bonus points for experience in:

• Medical devices, biotechnology, laboratory automation, or regulated software.
• Git, CI/CD, automated testing, or DevOps practices.
• IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or similar standards.
