Senior Software Engineer of Data Platform and Services (Fully Remote)

• Own and drive the migration of legacy data pipelines (Hadoop, Spark, Impala) to modern platforms, primarily Databricks.
• Leverage AI coding assistants like Claude and Codex to automate conversion of complex SQL and ETL scripts.
• Design, build, and maintain resilient, performant, and cost-efficient Airflow DAGs and Databricks Jobs.

What You Have:

• 6–8 years of software engineering experience with strong background in distributed systems and large-scale data platforms.
• Experience driving platform migrations from Hadoop/Impala to Databricks in production environments.
• Deep expertise with Python, Databricks ecosystem, Airflow, and cloud-native data storage (GCP).
