Job Overview: Join our teams building and enhancing Solactive’s real‑time indexing platform, which calculates and manages tens of thousands of financial indices and portfolios for clients around the world. As part of our Adapt team, you will develop highly performant, scalable, and extensible financial algorithms in close collaboration with our business‑focused teams, enabling the automated adaptation of Solactive’s financial indices and helping evolve a platform at the core of our global indexing business.

Tasks

• Implement efficient algorithms for real‑time calculations and automated adjustments of financial indices in various asset classes.
• Shape technical direction, design scalable solutions, plan implementation, and contribute through hands‑on engineering work.
• Collaborate closely with other engineering groups to bring our platform to the next level.

Profile

• Strong Engineering Experience : Several years of hands‑on software engineering experience, ideally in a financial environment, with strong expertise in Java and modern software engineering practices such as design patterns and domain‑driven design.
• Interest in Financial Indexing : Strong interest in financial markets, market events, and financial modelling (e.g., portfolio management, derivative pricing, or risk management).
• Analytical and Problem‑Solving Mindset : Enjoy breaking down complex technical challenges with clarity and creativity, turning them into robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
