Senior Solutions Engineer

In this role you will implement and tailor Altium Enterprise solutions for enterprise customers across cloud and on-prem environments. You will bridge Sales, Professional Services, Software Engineering, and R&D to deliver proven, transferable solutions that support customers’ electronics development goals. You will provide product expertise, guide technical decisions, and shape the scope of engagements through clear SOWs. Expect close collaboration with cross-functional teams and regular customer interactions, including on-site visits. This role offers impact at scale within a global software-enabled electronics platform.

• Implement Altium Enterprise solutions by analyzing customers’ environments and bottlenecks
• Provide deep product understanding and stay current on releases and roadmaps
• Offer technical guidance to align solutions with business drivers and value creation
• Create and quantify Statements of Work (SOW) for proposed solutions
• Collaborate with software engineers to customize solutions for customer requirements
• Coordinate with R&D to address high-impact software issues

• 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, or similar customer-facing strategic role
• Experience with Altium products is highly desirable
• Strong relationship-building and empathy in customer interactions
• Domain expertise in PCB design or related functional areas (ECAD design process, testing, PLM)
• Hands-on ECAD software experience, PLM integrations, and workflow management
• Proven project management ability to coordinate multiple initiatives
• Creative thinker who can set expectations and align stakeholders
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Team player capable of collaborating with multiple departments
• Willingness to travel and meet customers on-site monthly
• Fluent in English; German language beneficial
