Senior Specialist, Fund Reporting

In this role you drive German regulatory and financial reporting for investment funds, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely submissions. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data and reporting dependencies across international production hubs. You manage end-to-end processes from data collection to distribution, handling reconciliations, validations, and corrections. You will work within a compliance-driven environment to deliver high-quality reports for regulators and clients. • Process regulatory and financial reporting for German investment funds from data collection to publication and distribution
• Prepare recurring German and European reporting deliverables (AWV, ECB statistics, BVI statistics, VAG, Solvency II TPT where applicable)
• Process, reconcile and validate data (positions, transactions, derivatives, counterparts, master data); perform plausibility checks and variance analysis
• Manage reporting calendars, cut-offs, deadlines, submission requirements, and distribution channels; chase missing inputs and late deliverables
• Investigate data quality issues, implement corrections, and document root cause, impact, ownership, and resolution
• Handle acknowledgements/validation feedback from regulators and clients; resolve breaks promptly
• Coordinate with Fund Accounting, Tax, Depositary, Custody, Technology, Compliance, auditors and international teams to maintain data lineage and resolve dependencies

• German regulatory and financial reporting processing expertise in a KVG or fund-administration environment under KAGB and European requirements
• Experience with AWV, ECB investment-fund statistics, BVI statistics (depending on fund scope)
• Understanding of data required for regulatory reports and traceability to source information
• Experience with end-to-end reporting deliverables, data validation, and timely submissions
• Strong analytical judgement, attention to detail, and ability to manage recurring production cycles
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams and external service providers
• Very good written and spoken German and English for regulatory documentation and stakeholder communication
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge; Excel emphasized; experience with reporting platforms, XML-based submissions, data-quality tools, or automation is a plus
