Senior Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting

As a Senior Specialist in Frankfurt, you will manage and enrich security master data and reference data across instrument types to support accurate valuation and downstream processing. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues, coordinate with external vendors, and supervise event data processing in XENTIS. You will drive data-quality controls, documentation, and continuous improvements, including automation opportunities. This role sits at the heart of fund accounting and corporate actions in a global financial services environment.

• Maintain and enrich security master and reference data for new and existing instruments across equities, fixed income, and derivatives
• Analyze instrument characteristics to ensure correct classification and lifecycle attributes
• Investigate data discrepancies between internal records, market sources, and vendor feeds; apply controls and escalate as needed
• Collaborate with external data vendors (Bloomberg, WM Datenservice) and coordinate issue resolution
• Process and control event data in XENTIS (dividends, coupons, corporate actions, etc.)
• Partner with Fund Accounting, Pricing, Custody, Corporate Actions, Technology and other stakeholders to ensure data supports valuation and downstream processing
• Contribute to procedure documentation, data-quality controls, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement including automation
• Clearly communicate data, processing, or vendor issues to stakeholders and management

• Three+ years in securities data management, investment operations, corporate actions, fund accounting or similar financial-services environment
• Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and control-focused approach
• Clear written and verbal communication across operational, business and technology teams
• fluency in German and English (written and spoken) for German-market documentation and stakeholders
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; exposure to data analytics or automation tools is a plus
