Senior Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting

In this role you support the accounting for assigned funds and clients, including NAV calculation, performance assessment, and reporting. You contribute to service improvement, optimize processes, and supervise junior teammates’ work. You provide guidance on cash and asset reconciliations for complex cases and communicate with clients on fund reports. You help interpret GAAP/IFRS changes and assess regulatory impact, enabling accurate and timely fund accounting practices.

• Perform complex fund/client accounting tasks including NAV calculation, performance reporting, and expense allocation
• Drive service improvement plans and enhance accounting processes
• Input into accounting methodologies and review junior staff work
• Provide guidance on cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts and transactions
• Draft and review client fund performance reports with junior staff
• Interact with clients to address questions and resolve issues regarding fund reports and processes
• Evaluate GAAP/IFRS implications of new regulations on fund accounting practices

• Bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of total work experience preferred
• Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
• No direct reports in most cases; may have people management in some geographies
