Senior Specialist, Trustee & Depositary

In this Senior Specialist role, you support the Fund Accounting Trustee & Depository Team in Frankfurt to ensure efficient operations and compliant fund governance. You will work with cross-functional partners to improve processes, assist the Manager, and represent the business in diligence and service review meetings. You’ll handle regulatory duties, trustee reporting, and error investigation while developing team capability. This role offers exposure to fund products and governance in a globally respected financial services firm, with a focus on impact, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

• Analyze and improve processes to drive efficiency in collaboration with involved parties
• Assist the Manager with day-to-day operations and cover deputies in their absence
• Represent the business at Client Diligence and Service Review Meetings
• Be self-driven and complete assigned tasks; act as a role model and promote best practices
• Ensure funds comply with regulatory and fund-specific documentation
• Produce Trustee reports for funds for each period and year-end
• Investigate pricing and other fund errors and document breaches in reports
• Oversee regulatory duties of a Depotbank and deputize in Manager's absence
• Attend client meetings as required
• Contribute to team development through training and coaching
• Provide performance feedback to the Manager against objectives and development plans
• Review and complete various administrative duties within the team

• Significant work experience (>5 years)
• Open minded approach to understanding Fund Accounting processes and their impact on clients and other departments
• Process Improvement experience or skills; documentation skills (procedures/manuals)
• Product knowledge: Equities, Fixed income, OTC, ETD, SWAPS (beneficial)
• Good written/verbal English and German
• Xentis knowledge (Valuations/Reconciliation) is a plus
