Senior / Staff AI Model Engineer (Fully Remote)

Team: The Clear Street Active team is building a cloud-based trading platform for high-performance traders, providing access to liquidity venues, charting, and order handling.

• You will own the reliability and quality bar for an AI copilot used by sophisticated investors.
• You will design evaluation systems for correctness, safety, latency, and regression risk across trading workflows.

Tech Stack: Rust, TypeScript, Postgres, React (Web), React Native (Mobile), observability/telemetry tooling, LLM APIs + model serving, eval/training pipelines.

• Strong proficiency with any programming language, computer science fundamentals, and systems design.
• Experience building evaluation frameworks and running model improvement cycles.

Impact: You will develop benchmarks, automated quality gates, and incident response for AI.

• Ability to define metrics and drive engineering decisions from data.
• Comfort working across the stack to debug failures and improve UX patterns.
