Senior Staff Engineer for Automotive Microcontroller Tool Development and Digitalization (f/m/div)

We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer for Automotive Microcontroller Tool Development and Digitalization (f/m/div) on our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team. You will work hand‑in‑hand with our customers, enabling them to transform our products into cutting‑edge designs, and build long‑lasting partnerships that thrive on success.

Your Role

• Act as product owner responsible for the development and maintenance of tools for embedded microcontrollers, enabling new customers to evaluate the powerful architecture of automotive microcontrollers.
• Drive the creation of training material, code examples, low‑cost boards, software low‑level drivers and other collaterals and tools needed by the broader market.
• Collect, consolidate and assess tool requirements from stakeholders distributed over several countries while considering our ease‑of‑use guidelines and cost‑to‑benefit conditions.
• Create new ideas for tool improvements.
• Verify tool deliveries against requirements.
• Maintain information transfer of tooling solutions towards internal stakeholders.

Your Profile

• A degree in electronic engineering, information technology, or equivalent.
• At least 5+ years of working experience in the embedded microcontroller context as application engineer or software developer.
• Solid background in embedded microcontroller and related toolchains.
• Work experience in an agile project environment.
• Project management skills are an advantage.
• Customer‑oriented mindset.
• Love to work in distributed international teams.
• Very good English language skills; German language is an advantage.
