Overview

In this role you drive design-in and system-level work for Renesas’ automotive portfolios across E/E and IVI in the EMEA region. You collaborate with customers, product marketing, and engineering to shape solutions and roadmap opportunities. You’ll understand ADAS/ADAS-like architectures, coordinate cross-functional teams, and develop demonstrators and documentation to showcase capability. This position offers impact by accelerating automotive product adoption and aligning offerings with customer needs and market trends.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Drive design-in activities for the complete automotive product portfolio in E/E and IVI applications in EMEA
Define new products in collaboration with customers and internal teams
Act as technical interface and advise customers during development of automotive applications (OEM focus)
Derive customer system requirements and market trends to develop system value propositions
Understand ADAS/AD architectures and partner ecosystem to guide optimal system design
Manage projects with Sales and Marketing to achieve design-in targets
Establish and maintain relationships with customer engineering departments (OEM focus)
Support global/regional innovation projects and cross-functional teams
Connect with global teams to drive global business expansion
Lead technical discussions to define roadmaps and product requirements
Collaborate to develop documentation and system demonstrators (software+hardware)
Provide applications trainings to FAE, Sales, Distributors and customers
Present Renesas technologies in technical seminars

Zentrale Anforderungen

10+ years of related experience with 5+ years in E/E and IVI applications
HW/SW development experience in automotive applications (Tier-1s or OEMs)
Understanding of automotive system technical requirements and optimization of products/solutions
Profound knowledge of semiconductors (SoC, MCU, Analog & Power)
Strong knowledge of automotive interfaces (Ethernet AVB/TSN, CANFD, LIN, USB 2.0/3.0, PCIe, SerDes)
Experience with Functional Safety and Cybersecurity is preferable
Ability to drive projects to completion in an international environment
Basic understanding of development/manufacturing costs for evaluating system solutions
Leadership and negotiation skills to guide developments
Excellent verbal/written communication in English
