Senior Staff Financial Analyst (f/m/d)

In this role, you ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across Europe, supporting audits and coordinating close processes. You will partner with European finance teams to drive process improvements and harmonize accounting practices. You operate in a fast-paced, matrix environment, contributing to financial integrity and transformation initiatives. • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes in line with IFRS and local GAAP
• Ensure accurate statutory accounting and support statutory financial statements
• Coordinate external audits, address requests, close audit findings timely
• Act as main finance contact for banks, tax authorities, and external advisors
• Monitor balance sheet accounts and perform reconciliations
• Drive process improvements, automation, and harmonization of European accounting processes
• Support finance transformation initiatives, system improvements, and SAP-related enhancements
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOX controls (where applicable), and audit requirements
• Serve as trusted finance partner to management and other finance teams in Europe

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; professional qualification preferred
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, controlling, or audit
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory accounting requirements
• Experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred) and financial reporting systems
• Solid understanding of internal controls and audit processes
• Experience in a multinational or matrix organization preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage
