Perform On-site and Remote supplier oversight activities to ensure Westinghouse technical and quality requirements are achieved.
Develop and implement Supplier Oversight Plans to guide on‑time completion of critical document submittals and manufacturing activities.
Identify and escape supplier risks.
Drive prompt resolution of issues by issuing communications and coordinating activities with all partners.
Monitor supplier performance metrics, such as On‑Time Delivery, Quality issues, and Deviation Notices, for assigned suppliers.
This monitoring helps to identify negative performance trends.
Implement Causal Analysis (RCA), Corrective & Preventive Actions, and Supplier Improvement Plans to reduce issues.
Evaluate procurement (supplier) risk, soliciting partner input, and using tools to develop security of Supply Risk Mitigation Plans.
Provide regular progress reports to the team Partners (Project Manager, Program Director) and the SPE Leadership team.
Perform Technical Evaluations of our suppliers to assess manufacturing capability, capacity, process controls, compliance with applicable regulations, codes & standards, and any associated risks.
Identify gaps between supplier capabilities and Westinghouse Technical / Quality requirements to establish and implement Development Plans.
Lead Supplier Development and Qualification activities, Supplier Improvement projects, and Cost Reduction efforts.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical/Automation Engineering or similar
4+ years of progressive experience in Engineering/Manufacturing.
Knowledge in manufacturing processes: electromechanical assembly, printed circuit boards, cable assemblies and harnesses, electrical cabinets, sensors, molding, testing, and inspection.
