Senior Systems Engineer - Global Accounts (m/f/d)

As a Senior Systems Engineer for Global Accounts, you partner with Nutanix’s largest customers to drive strategic technical initiatives. You act as a trusted advisor to global sales leadership, engaging with executives to shape technology direction and outcomes. You will articulate Nutanix value across complex opportunities and lead technical strategy for transformational projects. This role blends deep product expertise with visionary guidance on AI, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures to scale customer adoption. You join a cross-functional team to align customer needs with company roadmaps and represent Nutanix at industry events.

• Lead technical advisory for strategic global accounts and drive business and technology outcomes
• Build relationships with customer executives and technical stakeholders to influence strategic decisions
• Engage with C-suite to articulate value and support high-impact initiatives
• Provide deep technical expertise across Nutanix solutions and adjacent technologies
• Guide customers on emerging trends such as AI, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and hybrid multicloud
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering to align requirements with strategy
• Lead technical strategy, solution development, and executive presentations for complex opportunities
• Escalation point and executive sponsor for critical customer challenges and strategic projects
• Represent Nutanix at industry events and forums through thought leadership
• Mentor colleagues and share best practices in systems engineering
• Support strategic opportunities globally and travel as needed (~50%)

• 8+ years in technical pre-sales, systems engineering, solution architecture, or related customer-facing role
• Proven success with large enterprise or global accounts and measurable outcomes
• Deep expertise in virtualization, storage, AI, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and modern infrastructure
• Ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, LOB leaders)
• Independent work style with strong cross-functional collaboration
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Credibility as a technical thought leader and evangelist
