Senior Systems Engineer, Public Sector (Germany)

In this role you will drive technical influence for German Public Sector deals, aligning Everpure Storage solutions with customer business outcomes. You will work with sales, partners, and product teams to articulate architectures, perform evaluations, and deliver compelling demonstrations that win technical agreements. You’ll shape the technical strategy across NAS, SAN, and Object/S3 spaces while staying ahead of competition and market trends. • Develop deep understanding of German Public Sector buying motives and decision processes
• Link technology offerings to measurable business outcomes for FED/SLED customers
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists, and SI partners to drive revenue and new business
• Demonstrate advantages of Everpure Storage solutions and lead technical leadership in storage architectures
• Lead evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations
• Deliver technical architecture presentations to win technical approvals
• Capture customer needs and translate into innovative storage solutions
• Prepare responses to German Public Sector RFPs
• Drive interoperability and performance testing/validation opportunities
• Support roadmap planning and alliance materials with product/marketing
• Stay current with competition and reflect differentiated positioning in materials
• Model and promote a cloud-native, on-prem, and multi-cloud storage strategy
• Lead by example with Everpure Values: Persistence, Creativity, Teamwork, Ownership and Customer-first

• Pre-sales experience with German Public Sector customers
• 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications
• Strong NFS/SMB skills; certifications like ONTAP NFS Administration or NetApp NCDA
• Experience selling storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to German Public Sector/Enterprise accounts
• Deep understanding of multi-tier client/server and web-based computing
• Familiarity with modern web architectures (LAMP, scale-out vs scale-up, AWS Well-Architected, microservices) a plus
• Experience prospecting new clients and converting them
• Strong knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN, Object/S3)
• Linux experience with NFS, distributed networking, storage subsystems
• Knowledge of virtualization, networking (VMware, Ethernet, TCP/IP) and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) a plus
• Spanish/English not required; German language proficiency at Level C2 is required
• Curiosity and ability to explain new tech to customers
• Familiarity with storage-heavy applications (SQL, Oracle) desirable
• Excellent German verbal and written communication in German (C2)
