Senior Systems Engineer - Service Providers

In this role you will provide technical presales support to Nutanix's Service Provider sellers in the EMEA region, shaping solutions for service providers and expanding the partner ecosystem. You’ll lead POCs, demonstrations, and sizing efforts, working with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies. You will build strong relationships with service providers and partner networks to drive mutual success and managed services growth. Travel is required, and you’ll operate independently while driving innovation and quick adoption of new technologies.

• Provide technical presales support to Service Provider sellers
• Conduct proposal development and sizing based on Service Provider data
• Organize and manage proof of concepts (POCs) and demonstrations
• Collaborate with specialists and internal teams to develop technical strategies
• Develop and maintain relationships with Service Providers to support business objectives
• Build and maintain relationships within partner networks to foster community engagement
• Achieve set performance metrics and contribute to over-quota results in managed services
• Support team growth by identifying resource needs based on workload
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning
• Work with Regional SE Manager to align field pre- and post-sales with partners
• Learn new technologies quickly to support partner adaptation
• Provide subject matter expertise in relevant technology disciplines

• Minimum of 5 years of pre-sales experience in the Service Provider space or Systems Integrators
• 10 years of customer-facing and/or technical experience
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong networking and virtualization skills
• Experience with public cloud technologies (AWS and Azure)
• Knowledge of storage technologies and multi-tenancy architectures
• Familiarity with automation, scripting, and application blueprinting technologies (Ansible, Terraform)
• Understanding of cloud-native technologies and security practices
• Confident public speaking and exceptional relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and translate goals into actionable plans
• Solid understanding of VMware Cloud Director and/or Cloud Foundation (VCF)
