(Senior) Tax Manager (all genders)

Job Description

This is a fixed-term position for 18 months

• Independently manage and continuously improve tax processes with a focus on corporate income tax and VAT
• Prepare, review, and coordinate VAT returns, corporate income tax returns, and Intrastat declarations for domestic and international entities
• Assess complex tax matters and advise internal stakeholders across different business functions
• Act as the main point of contact for tax authorities, auditors, and external tax advisors
• Implement new tax regulations and develop internal tax policies and guidelines
• Prepare and review current and deferred tax calculations under IFRS and HGB for statutory financial statements and group reporting
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize, automate, and digitalize tax processes to ensure tax compliance

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Taxation, or a related field with a focus on Tax or Finance, or completed vocational training with several years of relevant professional experience
• Several years of relevant professional experience in Tax, ideally gained in an international company or a tax advisory or audit firm
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax and VAT regulations
• Experience working with ERP systems and confident handling of MS Office applications
• Very good German and English language skills
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working with strong analytical skills
