Senior Technical Advisor, Data Use and Decision Science (Remote - US) (Fully Remote)

• Support the implementation of epidemic intelligence activities that inform decision-making, including development of innovative data use products.
• Provide hands‑on technical accompaniment, capacity building, and knowledge transfer to in‑country embedded teams.
• Train teams on digital tools such as DHIS2, R, and R Markdown for data management and analytics.

Country Coordination

• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop country workplans and budgets for Collaborative Surveillance.
• Collaborate with global and country‑level partners to streamline and align initiatives.
• Provide technical oversight to evaluate the impact of surveillance initiatives.

Strategic Innovation

• Lead consultative work to investigate use cases for surveillance innovations like wastewater and genomic surveillance.
• Collaborate with epidemic intelligence team to pioneer innovations in data use, including AI and novel analytical methods.
• Synthesize multi-country learnings into strategic dissemination products for the global health community.
