Senior Utilities & Energy Market Developer

As Senior Utilities & Energy Market Developer, you will drive MathWorks strategy in the Utilities & Energy area, helping customers adopt, collaborating across teams, and ensuring our solutions align with industry trends and future needs.

Verantwortlichkeiten

• Use your knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, or other simulation software used in the Utilities & Energy industry to cultivate lead accounts and grow MathWorks presence in the market.
• Identify strategic projects at lead accounts and secure technical engagements with MathWorks technical experts.
• Build and nurture relationships with senior and executive management at lead accounts to create a common vision for adoption of MathWorks technology.
• Develop the Utilities & Energy industry strategy, review with MathWorks senior management, and execute together with international field teams.
• Engage with industry bodies and regulatory authorities to identify and drive opportunities for MathWorks solutions in supporting industry standards.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to drive growth.
• Advocate on behalf of lead customers to influence the future direction of MathWorks products.

Qualifikationen

• A bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.

Zusätzliche Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's, Master’s or doctorate degree in relevant science or engineering disciplines
• Experience of using MATLAB and Simulink or equivalent software platforms, in electrical energy and power systems
• Work experience with a corporation or regulatory authority in the electrical utilities industry or energy research sector
• Experience in working in a customer-facing role and driving technical engagements with customers
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English
• The candidate should expect to travel about 30-40% within Europe and to the United States, in support of customer facing engagements.
