Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager - Retail Funds

In this role you drive end-to-end NAV production for German retail funds, ensuring accurate daily reporting and a robust control environment. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable scalable BAU delivery and seamless migrations. You will tackle complex reconciliations, custody and depository coordination, and automation enhancements to support German market operations. • Own daily NAV process for German retail funds, including depositary confirmations and third-party distributions
• Lead daily cash/asset and unit reconciliations, resolve aging breaks, and manage post-event reconciliations for mergers/liquidations
• Oversee certificate creation with custody teams and transmission to Clearstream Banking (CBF)
• Synchronize corporate actions with depositories and manage pre-lists and exception clearances
• Govern swing pricing, regime conditions, and reporting; manage TA estimate delays and client notifications
• Coordinate reporting: daily NAV files/SFTP, Nexen reporting, portfolio turnover, KPI packs
• Embed depositary fee checks and invoice controls; manage FX standing instructions for expense payments
• Drive automation, vendor integrations (Bloomberg/WM), and data lineage improvements

• 12+ years in fund accounting/administration with deep German retail funds experience
• Leadership experience in large-scale onboarding or transitions
• Expertise in German/UCITS frameworks (KAGB, KARBV), BaFin expectations, WM Daten specifics, and retail distribution nuances
• Fluent in German and English; strong stakeholder management with deposits, auditors, regulators, and distributors
• Mastery of NAV control frameworks, pricing vendor oversight, liquidity tools (swing/ADL), and fee architectures
• Hands-on with reconciliation tooling, SFTP/API interfaces, and data quality governance (ISIN/WKN/WM)
• Big 4/audit interface or equivalent experience; professional accounting/tax qualifications a plus
• Experience managing and influencing key internal senior stakeholders; direct client management experience
