Senior/Principal Software Developer - Web Technologies and Rendering

In this role you will help design and implement the next generation web engine for mobile and PC, contributing to architecture, algorithms, and local optimizations. You will develop and evaluate high-quality prototypes and apply formal-methods-driven tooling to ensure robust, timely productization. You’ll work within the Hilbert Research Center on cross-cutting engine technologies, from compiler and layout optimizations to rendering and web standards. • Design, develop, and productize next-gen web engine features for mobile and PC
• Architect and optimize engine code (compiler, layout, interpreter)
• Develop and evaluate prototypes for the new web engine
• Create tools based on formal methods to improve stability and productization

• Bachelor in Computer Science (or higher)
• Proficient in Rust or C++
• Basic knowledge of concurrency and parallelism
• Familiarity with web technologies or compiler technologies; experience with Servo, v8, or related tech is a plus
• Familiarity with formal methods is a plus
• Experience with systems-level programming is a plus
• Passion for software quality and performance; willingness to learn from failure
• Fluent in written and spoken English
